Greetings Camp Wakeshma Community! We are excited to announce our New Executive Director, Liz Loy!
Todd Schierbeek and Eric Lancaster, our current Co-Directors, have elected to step down at the end of the 2021 year to focus some additional time on family. We will miss them both very much and thank them for their many years of leadership! Both were very helpful in helping us to find the future Camp Director of Wakeshma and will be working closely with Liz on the transition.

“I am beyond excited to join the Camp Wakeshma Family as I have heard such magical stories about how Camp had been a life changing experience for so many! My name is Liz Loy and I’m currently the Vocal Music Teacher at Mattawan Middle School. Joining me at Camp this summer will be my husband, Andrew, an Administrator in Bangor Public Schools, and our son Marius, aka Mars. He is 2.5 and full of energy! I am looking forward to meeting everyone who makes Camp Wakeshma so special!”
