As Camp Wakeshma proudly celebrates its 100th summer, we take a moment to reflect on a century of fostering friendships, personal growth, and cherished memories for generations of campers ranging in ages from 8-15, approximately 1,200 kids per summer. Nestled on the serene shores of Corey Lake in Three Rivers, Michigan, Camp Wakeshma has been a haven of adventure, creativity, and community since its founding in 1926. From nature hikes and campfire songs to canoeing and team-building activities, the traditions of Camp Wakeshma have left an indelible mark on countless lives.
This milestone is not just an opportunity to honor our past but also to invest in our future. To commemorate this special anniversary, we are embarking on several initiatives, including facility enhancements, program expansions, and scholarships to ensure that Camp Wakeshma remains a place where young people can thrive for the next 100 summers.
