Hello! My name is Lori and this is my second year as Kitchen Director for Camp Wakeshma. I have been cooking and baking for most of my life, and I love to make people happy by making something delicious! I am anxious to bring my love for creating in the kitchen, to the campers and staff of Camp Wakeshma. I am also related to your wonderful Directors Chuck and Bev, who can attest that my skills in the kitchen are credible…please, help yourself to a cookie! It’s going to be a great summer.

I’m from Evergreen Park, Illinois and am currently a freshman at Indiana University. This is my fourth summer spent working on Corey Lake. I’ve been a lifeguard for the past 3 years and am excited to take on the role of Waterfront Director this year. My favorite part of working at Camp Wakeshma has always been teaching sailing and getting to meet our amazing campers each week. I’m looking forward to another great summer in Three Rivers and celebrating Camp Wakeshma’s 100th Celebration!

Hi!! My name is Kate and I’m from Chicago, Illinois! This will be my fourth year on staff and my eight year here at camp! I am so excited to be working in the store this summer and can’t wait to see you all!!

I started camping in 2016 and I instantly fell in love with camp and have never left since! I’ve just about done it all! Since 2021, I have been a jc, counselor, unit leader, assistant program director, and this year I’m stepping into a new role as secretary! Camp has truly given me it all and I am looking forward to celebrating its 100th Celebration this year 🙂

Hi, I’m Ryan from Evergreen Park, Illinois! I spent six years as a camper at Camp Wakeshma, and this will be my third year on staff. I’m excited to help preserve the nature that surrounds us and guide the campers through an unforgettable summer. Can’t wait for summer ‘25!

Hi! My name is Megan and I am from Portage, Michigan! This will be my fourth summer working at camp and I can’t wait for this summer!

Hi Camp Wakeshma! My name is Sam and I’m excited to begin my second year in the Med Shed Director. I am pumped to see the staff and campers and help with their medical needs. I have a passion for health care and taking care of others. A quick fact,(whisper) the Camp Directors are my in-laws:) Can’t wait for the summer!

We cannot wait to be back at C.W. this year and are excited to return this year as units again!  This will be our 4th summer working at camp and together on staff. Our favorite things about camp are the lifelong memories campers get to create and the CBS!! (iykyk)

Hi! My name is Molly and I am from Evergreen Park, Illinois. This will be my fifth summer at camp and my third on staff. I am attending the University of Illinois next year and can’t wait for summer 2025!

This will be my first summer supervising Sam. She will be under my watchful eye to give everyone the best care. Stop by and see me when I am out and about.

This is my second summer watching over the office. My brother Teddy will be here this year but cats rule and dogs drool! See ya soon!-meow

Meet our new Office Support Staff, Teddy! Teddy joined our family last Fall and He is ENERGY! Abby passed last year and we picked up this cute little puppy with a Lab mix tag. Well as he continued to grow the Vet confirmed He was indeed a Great Dane! Oh My! His heart is as big as his body and He loves everyone. Make sure you say hi when you see him.
